Biography
Dr. Zhou is a multidisciplinary scientist and industry R&D leader advancing precision approaches to human aging and longevity. She currently directs R&D at Teal Rise, Inc., where she leads the integration of longitudinal multi-omics, large-scale data engineering, and AI/ML with experimental validation to decode the dynamic, individualized mechanisms of aging. Her work translates complex biological signals into predictive models, actionable biomarkers, and intervention strategies with real-world clinical and commercial relevance.
Dr. Zhou has built scalable computational frameworks for high-dimensional omics data and led landmark studies defining human aging markers and nonlinear aging dynamics (Nature Metabolism, 2023; Nature Aging, 2024; Nature Medicine, 2020; Nature, 2019). She brings deep cross-sector expertise from leadership and scientific roles at Stanford University, Tempus AI, and Adaptive Biotechnologies, with hands-on experience in translational research, data-driven product development, and regulated healthcare environments. She is known for building high-performing interdisciplinary teams and driving scientific innovation from discovery through implementation.
