Biography
Raj Puri has more than 30 years of regulatory experience in cell and gene therapy, cancer vaccines and cellular immunotherapy at FDA. As a division director, he participates and oversee development of numerous FDA guidance documents and policy matters in cell and gene therapies. In addition, he oversees research programs in cell and gene therapy performed by 12 principle investigators in his division of cell and gene therapies. Furthermore, as a principle investigator, his lab performs research in the area of cancer vaccines and cellular therapies including CAR-T cells. He has published >300 peer-reviewed scientific articles in medical journals.
