Biography
Kelly Lacob is a healthcare technologist, product designer, and systems thinker working to make care more preventive, personalized, and accessible. Trained at Stanford and Johns Hopkins in human biology, bioengineering, and business, she has built her career translating early-stage science into scalable healthcare products for historically underserved populations.
Before co-founding Xella Health, Kelly led product design and roadmap development for the first CRISPR-powered diagnostic platform at Mammoth Biosciences, and helped develop and launch the first FDA-cleared point-of-care and at-home PCR test at Visby Medical—supporting early COVID-19 response efforts. Decoding the Female Reproductive Healthspan & Enabling Early Intervention
Xella is pioneering a breakthrough method to monitor reproductive health using menstrual fluid instead of invasive biopsies. By using long-read DNA sequencing and proprietary computational methods, we can now separate and analyze "biological aging" signals from the reproductive system versus immune cells, revealing how reproductive organs age differently than the rest of the body.
