Biography
Erik leads Demand Discovery Group (DDG), a company creation fund that puts Deliberate Innovation to work originating and developing startups. DDG focuses on software and AI for healthcare, biotech, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure.Prior, Erik built and led the data science, machine learning, and software engineering organization at Prometheus Biosciences (acquired by Merck for $10.8B), evaluated investments at Takeda's venture capital fund, and completed postdoctoral training at MIT, Massachusetts General Hospital, and the Broad Institute. Erik trained as a physician-engineer.
