Biography
Selin Kurnaz, Ph.D., is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Massive Bio, a healthcare technology company focused on expanding access to oncology clinical trials. An engineer and entrepreneur, she has built Massive Bio around the use of artificial intelligence, real-world data, and patient-navigation services to identify potentially relevant trials and reduce the operational barriers that keep many cancer patients from participating. Before founding the company, Dr. Kurnaz spent more than a decade in strategy and consulting, including building and leading private-equity value-creation capabilities at EY. Her experience spans healthcare transformation, growth strategy, technology, and operating-model design. She holds multiple engineering degrees, including a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. At Massive Bio, she works with patients, community oncologists, health systems, pharmaceutical companies, and research sites to make trial matching more systematic and scalable. Her broader focus is on using technology and process redesign to bring precision oncology research closer to patients regardless of where they receive care.
