Biography
Dr. Lee is an infectious disease specialist and microbiologist at the NIH, where she oversees specimen processing and rapid diagnostics. She trained in microbiology and infectious diseases at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Boston Children's Hospital. Recently, Dr. Lee worked on developing CRISPR-based point of care diagnostics for low-resource settings, targeting diseases such as malaria and COVID-19. Her efforts aim to make advanced diagnostics accessible and effective in underserved areas. With a strong interest in emerging technologies and diagnostic stewardship, Dr. Lee is dedicated to improving global health outcomes through innovative and scalable diagnostic solutions.
