Speaker Profile
Biography
Dr. Guo is the creator of CATOS-AI, which integrates multiomics and medical imaging to deliver patient-specific predictions of prognosis and treatment response in lung cancer — addressing a critical gap in precision oncology that existing molecular tests and imaging platforms cannot fill. Its lead product, CATOS-LU, is a 7-gene biomarker panel validated in 1,641 patients, including a randomized Phase III clinical trial, and classified by the FDA as a "Novel Technology" following Q-Submission review.
Dr. Guo has been awarded $46.3M in grant funding from NIH, NSF, and CDC as Principal Investigator/Project Director, has authored 76 peer-reviewed publications with 4,600+ citations, and holds 14 patents. She is a Fulbright U.S. Scholar in biomarker discovery. Sostos has been accepted into the NVIDIA Inception Program and NCI Investor Initiatives, and is advancing CATOS-AI through NSF SBIR Phase II with nine cancer center collaborators and active biopharma licensing discussions.
