Speaker Profile
Biography
Misha Mehta was building a 15-year career as a leader in microbiology, molecular biology, and pharmaceuticals when her 5-year-old son, Neev, was diagnosed with DIPG in 2020. Neevs brave fight, which he lost in Nov. 2021, exposed Misha and her family to the worlds of patient advocacy and clinical trial navigation and helped them recognize the lack of federal attention and resources for curing rare pediatric diseases. Misha has spent the last two years as a devoted advocate for increased funding and research to address pediatric diseases and as a liaison to industry and regulatory agencies. In her work, which includes clinical trial design and building accessibility to pre-FDA-approved drugs, she has spoken with influential audiences including the U.S. Congress, the DoD, and Cancer Moonshot-Brain Cancer Forum. Misha currently serves as the President of the Neev Kolte Brave Ronil Foundation, and continues to fight for a world in which no disease remains incurable
