Biography
Judy Chou, PhD, is President and CEO of AltruBio, a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing innovative therapies for immune and inflammatory diseases. Previously, she led Bayer Pharmaceuticals' global Biotech organization, overseeing a multibillion-dollar portfolio and more than 2,000 employees. She held senior leadership positions at Pfizer/Medivation and Tanvex Biopharma and contributed to drug development at Genentech, Wyeth, and Abbott. Dr. Chou serves on the governing board of the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM). She earned her PhD from Yale University and completed postdoctoral training at the Max Planck Institute in Germany.
