Biography
Dr. Elian Rakhmanaliev is currently leading RD team at One BioMed, a biotechnological company, developing automated cartridge-based nucleic acid extraction instruments and kits. Elian has over 20 years of international academic and industrial experience and expertise in molecular diagnostics, genetics, and molecular biology. For the past 12 years his main focus was on developing NGS, qPCR and IA-based IVD tests, platforms and POCT devices for molecular diagnostics as well as nucleic acid extraction systems. Elian obtained his PhD in Genetics from Vavilov Institute of General Genetics and completed postdoctoral fellowships in Oncology at Karolinska Institute and in Immunogenetics at Johns Hopkins University.

Accelerating and Simplifying Nucleic Acid Extraction
Introducing an automated microfluidic all-in-one nucleic acid extraction system developed based on a novel reversable chemical binding reaction. The integrated platform and cartridges enable gentle and rapid isolation of nucleic acid (including ultra-HMW DNA) from various sample types or a wide range of research as well as clinical applications.
