Speaker Profile
Biography
Deirdre has spent her career at the forefront of innovation: bringing emerging technologies and platforms to the forefront with the goal of accelerating access to precision medicines.
She oversaw precision medicine initiatives for oncology and non-oncology assets at AstraZeneca and Bristol-Myers Squibb amongst others; launching Companion Diagnostics for Lynparza, Tagrisso, and IO therapeutics in the global markets.
Deirdre launched the global diagnostic strategy for Lynparza, which expanded access and utilization of BRCA testing to optimize patient treatments. She championed liquid biopsy efforts to provide patients and providers with a better understanding of a patient’s disease and treatment options. She led digital diagnostic collaborations at PathAI, building the foundation for the role of AI-Dx in patient diagnosis and treatment. As these technologies became standard of care, and data became interrogatable, Deirdre focused her efforts on the convergence of data and AI to drive innovation.
Deirdre looks forward to a lively discussion today.
