Biography
Alexandre Moreau has a diverse work experience in the field of business development and research. Alexandre started their career as a Summer Research Intern at CNRS, where they worked on electrophysiological measurement of neuronal circuits. Alexandre then pursued a PhD at Université Paris-Sud, focusing on the regulation of visual information processing in neuronal networks. During this time, they published multiple research articles and initiated collaborations leading to scientific publications.After completing their PhD, Alexandre served as an Associate Lecturer and Postdoctoral Research Associate at University College London, where they delivered lectures, tutored students, and conducted research on inhibitory neuronal circuits and their implication in epilepsy. Alexandre also worked on EU-funded projects and published scientific papers.Following their academic career, Alexandre transitioned into the industry. Alexandre worked as a Business Development Consultant at Novoptim, promoting new technologies and pre-clinical services. Alexandre then joined Crown Bioscience as a Business Development Manager, where they contributed to the field of translational oncology and metabolic diseases research by providing disease models and drug discovery platforms to clients.Currently, Alexandre is Vice President of Business Development West CoastAPAC Global Partnerships at Champions Oncology, Inc. Alexandre previously held roles as the Executive Director, Head of Business Development Europe, Translational Oncology Solutions and Head of Business Development Europe at the same company. Earlier, they served as Director of Business Development for the UK and Scandinavia region.Overall, Alexandre Moreau has extensive experience in business development, research, and academia, with a focus on oncology, neuroscience, and pre-clinical services.Alexandre Moreau completed their education in a chronological order. Alexandre began their academic journey in 2001 at Université Paris-Saclay, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Cell biology and physiology. Alexandre successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2004.
