About the Program
PMWC recognizes influential voices advancing precision medicine, genomics, and healthcare innovation.
This program provides complimentary Press / Media Pass access for qualified media and
content creators who actively share meaningful insights from the conference with their audiences.
Access Categories
Media Pass (Press Pass) — For journalists, editors, and reporters from recognized outlets producing independent coverage.
Content Creator Pass — For influencers, podcasters, or newsletter authors with engaged healthcare, biotech, or innovation audiences.
Ambassador Pass — Invite-only access for previous or current PMWC speakers, honorees, or recognized community leaders who amplify the mission of precision medicine.
General Guidelines
- Each pass is issued to one individual and is non-transferable.
- Coverage should be independent and educational, not paid promotion.
- Employees of exhibiting companies may qualify only for editorial (non-marketing) coverage.
- Filming inside sessions requires prior PMWC approval.
Eligibility
PMWC evaluates each application individually. Media and content creators are reviewed under different criteria to ensure relevance, authenticity, and alignment with the conference mission.
Media — Journalists, editors, or producers affiliated with recognized outlets regularly covering healthcare, biotechnology, or innovation. Applicants should appear as contributors on an outlet’s website or provide recent bylined work. Corporate communications, PR, and marketing staff do not qualify.
Freelancers & Analysts — Freelance journalists must provide an assignment letter or editor confirmation; analysts should include a publicly available report relevant to healthcare or health tech from the past six months.
Content Creators — ≥ 5,000 followers/subscribers on one platform, ≥ 50% content in health/innovation topics, consistent engagement.
Writers / Newsletters — ≥ 2,500 subscribers and consistent, original content on precision medicine, healthcare, biotechnology, or innovation.
Coverage Expectations
Approved participants commit to sharing original PMWC-related content across three phases:
Before PMWC (4 posts)
- Build anticipation for the event.
- Share program highlights, honorees, or key topics you’ll be covering.
- Explain why PMWC matters to your audience.
- Optional: teaser interview or Q&A with a speaker or chair.
During PMWC (3 posts)
- Real-time updates, top takeaways, and speaker insights.
- Behind-the-scenes moments or quick interviews.
- Tag @PMWCintl and use event hashtags (e.g., #PMWC26 for 2026SV) for visibility.
After PMWC (2 posts)
- Recap key lessons or trends.
- Reflect on how the conference shaped your perspective or work.
