Biography
Dana Foss, PhD, is CEO and Co-Founder of Editpep, a biotechnology company developing next-generation non-viral delivery technologies for CRISPR-based medicines. A scientist and entrepreneur, she co-invented Editpep’s proprietary PERC™ platform during her postdoctoral research at UC Berkeley’s Innovative Genomics Institute, working with Ross Wilson and collaborators at UCSF. Her research was published in Nature Biomedical Engineering. Under her leadership, Editpep is advancing precision genome-editing therapies for neurological diseases, including Huntington’s disease. Dana brings extensive expertise in protein and RNA biochemistry, CRISPR delivery, and translational research, with a mission to make transformative genetic medicines accessible to patients with difficult-to-treat conditions.
