Speaker Profile
Biography
Chin Lee leads clinical development of Lycia Therapeutics’ lysosomal targeting chimeras (LYTACs), novel protein degraders designed to clear extracellular disease-causing proteins, for the treatment of autoimmune and allergic diseases. He joined Lycia from Allakos, where he oversaw development of therapeutics for allergic and inflammatory diseases. He previously held leadership positions at Connect Biopharma, Theravance Biopharma, Genentech, Eli Lilly, and Abbott (now AbbVie). Across these roles he has guided therapies from early- through late-phase development and regulatory approval in multiple immunology and inflammation indications. Earlier in his career, Dr. Lee was a faculty member in the Division of Rheumatology at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He earned an M.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and an M.P.H. from Northwestern University.
