Biography
Ash Anwar is an accomplished leader with a multidisciplinary background in molecular biology, biochemistry, data science, and business. He earned his undergraduate degree from SFU, completed graduate training in experimental medicine at UBC, and held a research fellowship in Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School. An entrepreneur at heart, Ash has co-founded multiple health and data startups and authored books on managing distributed teams and venture capital.
He holds an MBA from UBC’s Sauder School of Business and currently serves as Senior Director of Data at Molecular You, where he shapes data strategy and oversees data management and data science. A published author and inventor, Ash brings over a decade of experience advancing data-driven, technology-enabled healthcare to improve patient outcomes.
