Biography
Erin Satterwhite is CEO of Optum Specialty Pharmacy. In this role, she serves the oncology, immunology, neurology and rare disease biopharmaceutical marketplace, and is responsible for driving business performance, including pharmacy services, partnerships and growth strategies. Under Erins leadership, Optum Specialty Pharmacy has transformed into a market-leading consumer experience with clinical excellence across specialty areas, including rare disease, where she founded Optum Frontier Therapies. Prior to her role at Optum, she led organizations at Bayer Healthcare, 3M Company and Blue Cross Blue Shield to drive innovation and commercialize new products and services across consumer and professional health care. In addition to her professional leadership, Erin is involved in Special Olympics, and serves on the board for Clal, a New York based think-tank and innovation incubator. She is also an inventor, with nine issued patents, and frequently contributes to industry and academic publications.
